Q: How much does custom paint cost?
A: The cost is related to the amount of time, detail, and materials required to complete your show vehicle. My estimates usually are for labor only since material costs can vary greatly. A simple hood or tailgate mural can run in the few hundred range whereas complete flame jobs run upwards of a few thousand and complex graphics can get into several thousand. Keep in mind there's cost saving short cuts you can do such as providing the vehicle already based in a color, removing trim and decals, and of course delivering your project clean and ready to go.
Q: How long will it take?
A: Generally, a full graphics job on a vehicle will take between 1 to 2 months time. Bike sheet metal can be 2 weeks to 1 month, and murals or helmets can usually be done in about 1 week. I try to limit the number of projects I take on in order to devote my full attention to the job at hand.
Q: When can the work begin?
A: Well, that depends on what's ahead of you when your job gets accepted. Sometimes a project won't be dropped off as scheduled and that allows others to move up on the calendar. Most waits are under 2 weeks. MORE FAQs> 1 2 3
