So you've found my
site and decided the work is what you're looking for.
First I'll talk over
with you exactly what vehicle you're looking to get painted. Then we'll
discuss what type of graphics you are wanting. Are you looking for crazy
graphics or do you prefer clean and subtle?
You may want to gather
together some examples of the type of designs you like.
From here I will estimate
labor costs based on the amount of colors, complexity of design, and time
estimated to complete your project. I do not provide material costs until
the job is finished since they can vary so widely. A contract will be provided
so we are in agreement.
Once we can agree on
the proposed costs, a complex design may also require a sketch of what the
art will look like.
Should a rendering
be necessary, the cost will be part of the total. If you decide prior to
actual painting you only wanted a rendering, I'll charge an hourly rate
of $75 for such work. Most designs take from 4 to 10 hours. (I'm not in
the habit of just doing renderings. I want to produce the final paint.)
Keep in mind the rendering
is only a guide to the finished paint... which always is better than what
the drawing can show.
We will next schedule
a time and I'll contact you when your project can be dropped off.
When you deliver the
job I'll need 50% of the estimated total to help cover materials.
I'll call you once
the job's complete to arrange a pick up time.
At that time the remaining
balance will be due as well as actual material costs.
